THE ORIGIN OF THE SCIENCE
Before there was an Enyrgy platform, there was a clinical study.
In 2020, co-founders Scott Hansbury and David Letourneau began speaking with physicians from Louisiana State University and Baylor University on a study using UVB light to boost immune response in critically ill COVID-19 patients. The results showed a 60% reduction in mortality.
The research on vitamin D, UVB synthesis, and immune function that came out of those conversations was the scientific foundation for everything we built after.
We assembled the advisory board before we designed the product. The protocol before the hardware. The peer-reviewed methodology before the marketing copy.
Our protocol was designed by Dr. Samantha Kimball, Dr. Bruce Hollis, and Dr. William Grant — three of the most cited vitamin D researchers in the world. Their combined published work spans 500+ peer-reviewed papers and 70,000+ citations.
WHAT FOUR DECADES OF SCIENCE SAYS
The following peer-reviewed research forms the foundation of how we understand UVB synthesis, UVA-triggered pathways, and the difference between natural synthesis and oral supplementation. These studies examine the normal structure and function of the healthy human body. They are not intended to imply disease treatment.
UVB-Triggered Vitamin D Synthesis

THIRD-PARTY SPECTRUM VERIFICATION
An independent laboratory has conducted spectral analysis of the Enyrgy device output and confirmed: 90 to 95% UVB (280 to 315nm) and 5 to 10% UVA. That is the Triple-Pathway Advantage ratio we reference throughout the platform.
The verification documentation is available upon request.

12-WEEK OBSERVATIONAL STUDY RESULTS
We ran a 12-week internal observational cohort study to validate the mechanism in real users under controlled conditions.

Participant 3 — Male, Skin Type III
37.0 → 78.0 ng/mL · +111% · 51 sessions

Participant 5 — Female, Skin Type III

STUDY LIMITATIONS
Small sample size (N=5). No control group — this is observational data, not a randomized controlled trial. All participants were highly compliant in-office sessions. All participants were healthy adults without contraindications.
What we're pursuing next: A larger-scale independent peer-reviewed trial. Protocol in development, targeting Q3 2026. Full study protocol and raw data available on request.
THE HONEST CASE
The research behind Enyrgy is strong. Four decades of published science, three of the most credible researchers in the field, and cohort data showing 100% of participants reaching optimal levels with zero adverse events.
We could present that without context. We chose not to.
The cohort study is small. The sample is not diverse enough to draw population-level conclusions. We are not a medical device and we do not treat, diagnose, or prevent any medical condition.
What we are is a precision phototherapy platform grounded in peer-reviewed science, validated by independent spectral testing, and designed by researchers who have spent their careers studying exactly this mechanism.
That is the honest case. We're comfortable with it.
